Faculty development program at SJB institute of technology
We are delighted to share the successful completion of a 5-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) held at SJBIT Bengaluru, organized under the initiative of a reputed institution in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
The FDP was centered and offered faculty members an enriching opportunity to explore the convergence of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. The program began with sessions focused on Cybersecurity fundamentals, equipping participants with essential knowledge about cyber threats, defense mechanisms, and security frameworks. As the days progressed, the focus gradually shifted towards AI and ML, where faculty were introduced to real-time projects, tools, and concepts designed to help them integrate these advanced technologies into academic curricula. Hands-on demonstrations, project assignments, and expert-led discussions made the FDP a highly engaging and practical learning experience. From understanding the evolving nature of digital threats to exploring intelligent solutions for smart environments, the sessions were thoughtfully curated to foster innovation in teaching and research. We are proud of the enthusiastic participation and look forward to many such opportunities that empower educators with future-ready skills.
