3 days workshop at vidyavardhaka institute of technology, Mysore
3-Days workshop from 16/05/2024 to 18/05/2024 at VVCE Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering, MYSORE, is an Educational Institution established in 1997, and presently led by a visionary Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda the Principal of VVCE. It has been dedicated to providing the best education to its students and producing top-notch engineers for society. Recently, the college collaborated with Ashtaksha Labs Pvt. Ltd., a leading cyber security research company renowned for its high-quality workshops aimed at training cyber security professionals for the nation. Together, they conducted an intensive three-day workshop on the VVCE campus Mysuru from May 16th to 18th 2024. With coordination of Dr. Ravikumar. V Professor and Head ISE, and Professor Dr. Gowrishankar B. S. ISE. and Professor Dr. Rajendra A.B.
The workshop covered critical topics such as understanding your device, safeguarding your data, and securing your network by industry experts like Dr. S.H. Brahmananda Savadatti Director, Ashtaksha Labs, Manjula Rudresh Cyber security trainer, Srinidhi Pujar, VAPT analyst. Participants engaged in extensive hands-on sessions, delving into areas like cryptography, where they practiced data encryption and decryption, and explored steganography concepts. Additionally, the workshop featured demonstrations on ransomware and the cyber kill chain process, illustrated with real-world examples.
Industry professionals provided deep insights, fostering an enriching exchange of knowledge with the enthusiastic students. Nandi Dharma Kishore HN, Founder and CEO of Ashtaksha Labs Pvt. Ltd., addressed all queries from the curious minds with numerous analogies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the complex concepts. This collaborative effort not only enhanced the practical skills of the participants but also strengthened the bridge between academic learning and industry practices. Certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the event.
